More/FAQ’s             Who attends the meetings? Only Members and speakers. Vendors, public, press, staff, etc. are not allowed to attend.             Can I send a proxy if I’m busy? No.             Do I have to make presentations? No.  Members are not obligated to make presentations but we will request some members to lead discussions.             How do I join the group? You must either be invited by us or sponsored by an existing member.   Contact us for details.             Why do I want to join Council7? Hopefully, you will gain a decision-making advantage from the knowledge put forth by our Experts [and by fellow members].  Additionally, because we will be meeting regularly, and because of the nature of this select group, you will develop relationships with other members.             Why is this service so expensive? Experts with truly superior knowledge are expensive. In addition, we wish to keep membership small.   The larger the membership the less the advantage to members.              Where do you find Experts? We normally find our Experts from our Members.   Sometimes we do extensive research to find just the right Expert for a unique topic.       What is required of Members? Beyond paying their annual fee, Members are expected to be responsive to us and other Members if called upon, to attend both Meetings and Dinner, and join in group discussions.             What will the Agenda be for meetings? In our model, Agenda’s are set by the Members.   Among other topics Members choose, we expect to discuss global economic issues, incentives and methodologies for implementing innovation, strategy, operations, human capital, and other emerging business challenges.   We even expect to discuss some personal issues [such as meaningful philanthropic opportunities.] Within limits, Members will be given the opportunity to seek the collective experience, knowledge, brainpower, and wisdom of the Group.        Will competitors be in the group? Yes. but non-competitiveness is irrelevant because no Members are obligated to share information of any kind.             What is your satisfaction guarantee? Members are entitled to withdraw their membership at any time, for any reason, and we will refund their annual fee [on a prorated basis.]  We’re confident in offering this guarantee because only two members in our groups have invoked the guarantee in past twelve years.
